Crowd Card is ready for launch

This morning, I submitted the initial, semi-public version of Crowd Card (v1.0.1) to Apple TestFlight for review. I have spent the last two weeks solo-testing v1.0.0 on actual iPhone devices to make sure the app’s core functions are all working as expected. As a bonus, I also added a new feature into v1.0.1: users can now vote on Fight of the Night for each event.

I am hoping that Apple will approve the submission of the new version tomorrow, at which point I will send the app to Waitlist users for install. If you have an iPhone and you’re interested in being one of the first to use the app, please join the waitlist or send me a DM on X! If you’re not an iPhone user, fear not, the web version of Crowd Card is in development and will be available soon.

Today, I recorded a walkthrough video that showcases Crowd Card’s core features. If you’re a test user and run into any issues, feel free to reach out, or check out the video below to see how things work:

Crowd Card on iOS - Feature Walkthrough

I conclude the video with a company roadmap that details what I have planned for the next few weeks of development. I am currently working on several new features, including realtime database listeners that will automatically update judging gates for individual rounds, push notifications to notify users when scoring opens for a round, and social media linking that let’s users click-to-share their scores. While I iterate on the iOS app, I am also building Crowd Card for the web. So, if you’re not an iPhone user, hang in there.

Finally, I just want to thank all of you for your support and your patience. Crowd Card is a side project that I am building while working full time (on top of freelance work, home renovations, and training). I truly hope that it’s a product that people are excited to use and that helps us fix a broken judging system in MMA (and beyond!).

Okay, back to work!
